Laus ADG FAD, 2020
The Laus Awards are the most prestigious awards for visual communication in our country, organized by the ADG FAD for 50 years. To celebrate this milestone, they decided to shape it in an ecological way as an expression of the organization's commitment to the sustainability of the profession.
The design of the trophy is by Tomás Vellvé and has remained unchanged since 1950, although it has been made in different materials, such as brass, acrylic glass, or even silicone. For this new phase, our response to the task was to realize it with recycled plastic as a material with a clearly responsible profile and that also embodies the sign of our time.
The ADG board gave us carte blanche in an act of courage and honesty to continue with the development that lasted almost a year, both technically and aesthetically, until we achieved a finish that is as surprising as it is perfectly imperfect and clearly represents gold, silver, the big Laus, and the Laus of honor.
