VIII European Waste Prevention Awards

This award is especially linked to the ideas and values that we seek to transmit in Sustain Awards, allowing us to combine in an integral and coherent way the ideas of the award with our eco-design and sustainable manufacturing processes.

A monumental trophy has been proposed, based on circular geometries that evoke the recyclability of materials, as a key strategy for waste prevention. The concentric circles recall the schematic representation of an atom; the essentiality of matter.

It is made entirely of circular materials such as recycled concrete from steel sludge, post-consumer recycled plastic, bi-procel from paper industry sludge and unalloyed iron. This range of materials is intended to serve as a sample that represents the materials from waste generated by our closest industry.
