On the occasion of its 25th anniversary, the Catalan Cork Institute launches the award to recognize the entrepreneurial initiative of Catalan companies for their contribution to the socio-economic development of the territory and the creation of jobs throughout the cork value chain.

To reward new ideas with cork we have designed a trophy that represents the versatility of the raw material of the cork oak and its different material formats ranging from natural bark, to fine agglomerate, through expanded cork and coarse-grained aggregate.
